Hobo Potatoes

Something even saru should be able to cook Very Happy

Golden Yukon Potatoes ~ 1 per person is usually a good rule of thumb. Clean and puncture skin. Wrap in paper towel and place in microwave ~ 5 mins for two small to medium potatoes to be soft to the touch when done. Remove and let cool on a cutting board for a few minutes then cut in half. Use fork to loosen the insides of the potato up a bit. Place a pat of butter on each half, season with salt, pepper, garlic and parsley(optional). Top with cheese ~ whatever kind you want depending on what taste you're going for. I have used parmigiano/reggiano and cheddar. Grate the amount you will need to cover the tops of all the potatoes and chopped green onion. Add bacon bits (already cooked and crumbled). Take tin foil squares and place a small amount of butter or olive oil(mist) on the foil and sprinkle with salt. Place one half of each potato on it, fold foil to create a tent ~ this is so when the cheese melts it won't stick to the foil so easily ~ folding edges to keep heat in. Place on top rack of bbq to heat thru thoroughly.

Yes it's like doing twice the work but it's worth it, I promise Very Happy

I think the Iron Chefs of the world would agree with me when I say that even they haven't managed to burn pasta........you did that Pinkie. And I wanna know how? How does one burn pasta? It's a puzzling and amazing concept. Shocked

Lyc - didnt Jonas fall asleep cooking the eggs? lol
Tac - you were on the comp, playing a game when you had the ramen cooking...hence why you forgot about it and it burned TO a non-stick pan. >.>
The green tune....a bit much dill, but still edible. lol
